Media Planner and Buyer

Description

FKA is hiring a full-time Media Planner and Buyer with 4+ years of traditional media experience to join our dynamic media team, which manages over $20 million in media annually. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments and brings a passion for delivering performance-driven media strategies across TV, radio, print, and out-of-home.

You’ll lead the development and execution of integrated media plans, negotiate with vendors, collaborate with internal teams, and support client relationships across a diverse mix of industries. Working closely with the rest of the media and account teams, you’ll help shape the media strategy from insight to execution.

Candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in traditional media strategy, planning, and execution across multiple clients and sectors including the ability to evaluate media alternatives and provide well-informed, data-backed recommendations.
  • Ability to present strategies and performance results to clients in a clear, confident, and professional manner.
  • Experience engaging, negotiating and procuring media from publishers and other media vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage media budgets, optimize performance, and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to confidently engage both clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, and Google Analytics is an asset, particularly in support of integrated campaign planning.

The salary range for this position is $66,100 - $85,900 depending on experience.

FKA offers all Edmonton-based team members a hybrid work arrangement.  Team members residing in other cities across Canada have a remote work arrangement with scheduled opportunities for in-person co-working.
